Your opportunity
On behalf of a values-driven agribusiness, we’re recruiting for a newly created, high-impact role that connects shareholders, the executive team, industry bodies, and policymakers. In this role, you will help define our client’s stance on animal welfare, sustainability, and emerging market trends across the wider food sector.
Role and Responsibilities:
- You work strategically and substantively on animal welfare, housing/husbandry systems, sustainability, supply chains, and market trends.
- You monitor and assess relevant developments.
- You prepare position papers, statements, and speaking notes/remarks, and conduct independent research.
- You plan, accompany/attend, and document meetings at national and EU level.
- You manage projects, coordinate cross-functional interfaces among stakeholders, and cultivate an effective network.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Experience in agribusiness and the meat sector, with a focus on animal welfare and agricultural policy
- Solid understanding of animal husbandry/welfare issues, market mechanisms, and policy-making processes
- Strong ability to analyse, structure, and synthesise complex subject matter into clear outputs (briefings, memos, presentations)
- High integrity, discretion, and excellent communication skills; confident presence and strong organisational abilities
- German (C1/C2), English (B2); additional languages are an advantage
