Role and Responsibilities:
- You are responsible for strategy, annual planning, and overall operational management across all areas.
- You lead and develop the management team and workforce, shaping a performance- and value-oriented culture.
- You optimize production processes in animal husbandry and agriculture, balancing performance, profitability, sustainability, and animal welfare.
- You manage budgets, investments, and liquidity, establishing effective KPIs and transparent reporting.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Several years of management experience in agricultural businesses; ideally with a focus on pig farming and arable farming
- Sound business management skills (budgeting, investment appraisal, controlling) and entrepreneurial thinking
- Experience in working with modern agricultural and livestock technology as well as digital management systems
- Knowledge of agricultural law, environmental issues, and subsidies is an advantage
- Agricultural training or degree
