Our client is an international manufacturer of equipment and processing solutions for the pet food, food and feed industries. To strengthen its European engineering capabilities, we are looking for an experienced specialist who can design and develop extruders, solve demanding mechanical challenges and contribute to the development of more reliable and productive equipment. You will play an important role in advancing extrusion technology and sharing your expertise with international engineering teams.
Role and Responsibilities:
You design and further develop extruders, contributing your expertise to new equipment models.
You investigate and resolve technical problems such as shaft failures, insufficient throughput and unstable machine operation.
You advance the development of larger twin-screw extruders, improving equipment reliability, production capacity and product quality.
You support fellow engineers in solving design challenges, improve engineering methods and transfer your specialist knowledge.
Your Profile:
Solid hands-on experience in the mechanical design and development of extruders.
Deep understanding of extrusion technology and how mechanical design, process conditions and production performance interact.
Good knowledge of twin-screw extruders and their design and development.
Proven ability to identify the root causes of technical failures and develop effective engineering solutions.
A qualification in Mechanical or Process Engineering, or equivalent practical expertise, and fluent in English. Experience with food or feed extrusion equipment is an advantage.
