Our client in Germany offers you the opportunity to join an internationally active company within the pet care sector. In a hands-on research and development environment, you will work at the intersection of applied biology, microbiology and quality assurance.

Role and Responsibilities:
- You perform (micro)biological analyses, particularly of water samples
- You contribute to development projects in the aquatics environment
- You maintain and monitor large aquarium systems within R&D and quality assurance
- You take responsibility for active fish handling including health assessment
- You document, evaluate and interpret trials, laboratory results and tests
- You ensure compliance with quality, safety and animal welfare standards
Requirements and Qualifications:
- You have several years of practical experience in a biological or microbiological environment
- You bring solid experience working with fish (e.g. aquaculture, fish breeding, research)
- You possess strong hands-on skills in microscopy and microbiological methods
- You work with a high level of accuracy, responsibility and hands-on mentality
- You are characterised by a structured, independent working style and team spirit
- You are fluent in both German and English.
